Thanks for posting this! I have recently developed a liking to kendo and has been browsing the internet for whatever articles I can find about kendo and everything associated with it. It is one of the Japanese martial arts that has a rich history having evolved from the ancient samurai warrior fighting techniques. One thing I like most about this form of martial arts is the weapon it uses for real battles - the Katana sword. The Katana has represented the Samurai from long time ago and I believe that it will continue to be a symbol of the ancient Japanese martial arts. For me it does not represent death but rather it reflects Japan's culture and shows how the Japanese can create truly magnificent works of art.
